Arcturus Black II (1884- 1959), named after his great-uncle Arcturus Black I, was the third son of Phineas Nigellus Black, husband of Lysandra Yaxley, father of Callidora, Cedrella and Charis, grandfather of eight and a well-known Auror in his time.
Biography[]
Born in raised in Hogsmeade, his parents were Head-Master and School Nurse at Hogwarts. Arcturus was sorted into Slytherin House with his three brothers while their sister Belvina was a Hufflepuff. He was a prefect and started dating Ravenclaw Lysandra Yaxley in 1900.
He became an Auror for the Ministry and did this untill his retirement in 1945, after World War II.
Personality[]
He was a demanding man but kind and just. He put a lot of pressure on his co-workers but was a great and loving father. They supported their daughter Cedrella even after her banishment from the family by Arcturus's father.
Appearence[]
Arcturus was quite handsome and had a thin Italian moustache that matched his gleaming dark hair. He was a great fan of 1940's fashion.
Trivia[]
- He was named after his paternal grand-uncle Arcturus Black I (1835-1893). His nephew Arcturus Black III (1901-1991) by his eldest brother was named after him.
